Hi Gents,
Just creating a thread in the same vein as the Didersachsenring from last week for people to leave times and feedback for Sandy Shores Raceway. Ive just finished vetting the track and have published what should be the finialised version that will be used in the race on Sunday barring any major revisions or oversights.
Leave any questions or concerns here and ill get back to you asap
As far as lap times, Ive only tested the track in the Elegy and my fastest was a 1:22:146 I think a 1:21:999 or faster should be possible but couldnt manage it. The apex barriers add an interesting dynamic, time can be shaved off by clipping them but it unsettles the car a bit and not every corner behaves the same way so it should make for a good quali and race.
Just another quick point, for the grid, the pole slot will be right hand side of the track in line with the 'Gas Hand Wash' sign on the main straight. This will shorten the run to the first corner hairpin and hopefully minimise any first corner carnage. I was super impressed with everyones driving last week, especially through the first lap. Massive testiment to all of you and your high level of skill and etiquette to get through that with out contact. It will be another challenge to do it again this week. Cheers

Nice. I look forward to this. Unfortunately I won't be able to get nearly as much practice as I'd like, due to time restraints and the fact that we have anoter multi-class endurance race with the crew later that day, but the race should be good nonetheless.

Just threw down a 15 lap practice session. Fastest was 1:20.517ish. Average laps were in the 1:23 range over the entire 15 lap segment. Troubling corners were the first tight chicane (turns 4&5) and turns 10&11, where I was getting a little bit of oversteer.
